I’ve always admired how some people can draw these beautiful girls on all those American commercials and 40-70 posters. I’ve always found them looking so realistic and yet having the magic of drawing / painting as well as their own. Only later did I learn that this is a “pin-up” art, as well as the names of some of the best in this field – Alberto Vargas, Gil Elvgren and Peter Driben. Of course, there were many other great “pin-up” artists. The picture below is my first attempt to draw “pin-up” like girl. The original image was in the book I learn from and is not the work of any mentioned artists.
