This gauge is in the middle one in my panel of backup instruments and I also completed it as the middle one, that is, second in order. The airspeed indicator was the last of the 3 backup “gauges” I built into the cockpit instrument panel. It is also the simplest of the three backup instruments in terms of connection. It only contains an LED for backlighting and one X27-168 stepper motor, which can be controlled directly by Arduino, i.e. without another electronic board. I write the clock, but this device shows a little more. In addition to the clock and stopwatch, it also displays voltage and temperature. Of course, this information comes from the simulator. If you look at the photo of the cockpit, you will find several controls on it’s main panel that do not fit into any functional group and are also all independent of whether the simulator is running or not.
